Suspect arrested in College Park shooting

The suspect wanted in connection with a fatal shooting on Old National Highway in College Park has been arrested, according to the Fulton County Police Department.

Timothy Wood, 33, was charged with murder Thursday in the Oct. 6 death of Eddie Magby III. Magby was shot in the parking lot of a Chevron gas station.

Magby’s mother, Paquin Davis, scheduled a candlelight vigil Thursday night at 8 p.m. at 6129 Old National Highway. An account has been established for Magby at Wells Fargo to assist the family with funeral costs.
