Georgia film and TV production remained at a pretty normal pace the past month, with about 45 active productions.

Some major movies wrapped recently including the “Shazam” sequel with Zachari Levi, Owen Wilson’s “Secret Headquarters,” and Bryan Cranston’s “Jerry & Marge Go Large.” Showtime’s new drama “The First Lady” with Viola Davis also wrapped after a long shoot.

At the same time, some other films are starting up including “Wedding Crashers 2″ with Wilson and Vince Vaughn, historical drama “Till” with Whoopi Goldberg, “The Menu” starring Ralph Fiennes, indie film “On the Wing and a Prayer” with Dennis Quaid and Netflix film “White Noise” (under pseudonym “Wheat Germ”) featuring Adam Driver. The ABC drama “Queens” with Eve and Brandy also began production.

The Georgia film office, which provides a live, ever-changing list of active productions, does not include Netflix’s “Ozark” because Netflix requested it not be on the list. And the list is not necessarily complete because production companies voluntarily inform the Georgia film office of what is happening. They are not obligated to do so.
