A motorist fleeing from Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents collided with another car Monday morning in Savannah, Georgia, killing a local schoolteacher.

“We have 80 years of CARE history. I have 10 years of being the leader of CARE. And I cannot imagine a year that was more challenging than the one that we have just experienced in our history,” the Atlanta-based nonprofit’s CEO, Michelle Nunn, said in a recent interview. (Hyosub Shin/AJC)
