After their win over the East-leading Detroit Pistons at Little Caesars Arena on Wednesday, the Atlanta Hawks ascended to fifth place in the standings.
CJ McCollum scored 11 points in the fourth quarter to help the Hawks get to overtime, and Atlanta survived two game-winning shot attempts on the Pistons' final OT possession.
