“Good Morning America” anchor Amy Robach will deliver the keynote address during the University of Georgia’s undergraduate commencement on May 8.

Robach is a 1995 alumna of UGA’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, and has been an anchor on the ABC news program since March 2014. During her tenure with ABC News, Robach has also reported and hosted several “20/20” news programs, and reported on major events including the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia and the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Connecticut.

UGA’s graduate commencement address will be presented by University Professor Emeritus Gary Bertsch, who is now chairman of the international advisory group TradeSecure LLC.

The undergraduate ceremony begins at 7 p.m. in Sanford Stadium and will be followed by a fireworks display. The graduate ceremony beings at 10 a.m. in the Stegeman Coliseum.

Both ceremonies will be streamed live at www.ctl.uga.edu/ctlcable and broadcast live on Channel 15 of the university and Charter cable systems.
