While Hotels.com has been the official travel partner of the NBA for three seasons, the Atlanta Hawks are the first team to have a direct partnership with the travel website.
“State Farm Arena sets a high standard for fan experience and through this exciting partnership, we’re thrilled to extend our premium traveler experience to fans with a trusted platform and incredible accommodations for every type of trip on Hotels.com,” Expedia Group vice president of strategic partnerships and affiliates Clayton Nelson said in a news release.
As part of the new partnership, Hotels.com will be promoted through the State Farm Arena’s three-sided marquee, a 42-foot tall and 88-ton digital display. The travel website will also be promoted on StateFarmArena.com. The Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena will also each receive access to potentially insightful first-party, AI-driven data from Hotels.com’s parent company, Expedia Group, to “improve their own fan experiences.”
