State authorities say all water sources have been tested and deemed safe; some nearby residents say their drinking water smells like fuel and appears to have oil particles.

Winter storm: Monday will still be a difficult flying day nationally, particularly for travelers coming from or heading to airports in the Northeast.

The Atlanta airport could face one of its biggest tests in years as the huge storm could bring heavy amounts of freezing rain to much of Georgia.

Nationwide, 94% of travelers are flying with Real IDs. Georgia’s rate is 93.1%. For travelers without Real ID, there will be an extra cost.

The airport is also implementing new body scanner technology designed to speed up the process.

The Surface Transportation Board ruled the document is “incomplete.” The companies must refile with additional information.

The airline is reducing its AmEx credit card statement benefit, but boosting miles and status gifting ability.

“We’re prioritizing Atlanta as a critical next step for our lounge network,” after customer feedback, Delta executive Dwight James told the AJC.

‘It’ll be a strong year. Whether it’ll be a record year or not, I don’t know. It has the potential to be,’ Delta CEO Ed Bastian said.

The companies are in the early innings of what’s shaping up to be a long fight over the proposal.
