A look at the state’s stats leaders as of Week 10 games.
With two games left, North Hall’s Alex Schlieman, with 2,242 yards, and Cambridge’s Connor Langford, with 2,038, are well-positioned to capture the lead for passing at the wire. (Branden Camp for the AJC)

Mason Hollingsworth of Whitefield Academy, Caine Woods of Dalton and Justin Beasley of Calhoun maintained or regained their leads in GHSA rushing, passing and receiving yards, respectively, this week.

Who’ll finish first remains up in the air.

In rushing, only 113 yards separate Hollingsworth’s 1,662 yards from sixth-place Hudson Hulett’s 1,549. It’s interesting that Hulett and fifth-place Keyuntae Phillips, last week’s rushing leader before a bye week, are quarterbacks.

The lead for passing is also under threat, despite Woods holding the lead for several weeks. The Dalton quarterback, with 2,378 yards, and most players with more than 2,000 yards have only one regular-season game remaining.

The top five receivers have two games remaining. Beasley, with 1,177 yards, has a healthy lead over Athens Academy’s Keyon Standifer, who has 1,032 yards. Standifer took the Class A Division I lead this week, passing Mount Vernon’s Taurean Rawlins, who has 1,006 yards.
