It’s National Nurses Week 2022 and that means deals, discounts and more. So, toss those well worn scrubs, because now is the time to buy.

But before you just grab the scrubs with the lowest price tag, make sure you are actually getting the most for your money by picking the brands that are right for you. Here is a breakdown of this year’s top choices.

Best overall

When it comes to picking the best scrubs, who knows more than a nurse? How about 120,000 nurses?

Nurse.org has surveyed a community of nursing superstars large enough to populate hundreds of hospitals to determine which scrub brands are the best this year. While Nurse.org ranked the brands based on different categories, there was one brand that was voted above the rest: Figs.

The direct-to-consumer apparel brand says that they are more than a uniform.

“We create technically advanced apparel and products that feature an unmatched combination of comfort, durability, function and style, all at an affordable price.” Figs said on its website.

While more expensive than many of their competitors, Nurse.org called Figs scrubs “on trend” and high performing clothes for healthcare workers looking for a clean and stylish look.

Most comfortable

While it’s nice to look stylish on those 12 hour shifts, it’s essential to feel comfortable. That’s why the Nurse.org community voted Jannuu the best brand for nurses looking for scrubs that feel as good as they fit.

Derived from the Hindi word for life, Jannuu’s core values focus on the customer’s journey.

“We inspire your journey to perform at your best.” The company said on their website. “We study the strength with which you operate to deliver the most innovative uniforms in the world.”

Jannuu offers a “Comfort Rx” loungewear line for nurses looking for something even more leisurely. The brand’s “scrub builder” also allows customers to customize their tops and pants for the perfect style.

According to Nurse.org, however, some customers have reported that the lighter colored scrubs from this brand are less stain-resistant.

Most stylish

Since Figs took the top spot, it is only natural that the brand managed to take multiple categories. Helping it earn the best overall vote, Figs scrubs are also considered the most stylish, according to Nurse.org.

The leaderboard topping brand comes stacked with accessories to make the most out of your outfit. From socks to face masks, Figs justifies its higher price point with an array of stylish loungewear, outerwear, scrub caps, jackets and more.

Best for women

When it comes to making scrubs specifically for women, there is one brand that stands out: Wonderwink.

Wonderwink has earned the top spot with female nurses this year, according to Nurse.org. Describing itself as the past, present and future of scrubs, the company want to bring an excitement to your work wardrobe.

“We strive to capture the fresh, fun, and exciting essence of uniforms with our perfected fit, finish, details, and colors, always moving forward to bring you the ultimate experience: scrubs that change your attitude,” the company said.

The brand’s scrubs, however, are not as stretchy as some nurses would like, Nurse.org said.

Best for men

For men looking to grab a new pair of scrubs, the best place to snag a set may be Dickies, a company that has been making workwear since 1922.

Keeping things simple, Dickies strives to stay rooted in its deep history.

“We’re still a Texas company.” The company said. “We still embody that spirit of the American worker. The only difference is we get to do what we do for more hard-working folks like you than ever before.”

Nurse.org called the Texas company’s apparel lightweight and great for stretch, durability and movement. According to the organization, some customers claimed the scrubs sizing was a bit on the smaller side and that delivery sometimes took longer than expected.
