School officers using body cameras as an “added eye”

Cobb County has become the latest school district to put body cameras on police officers.

With increased public scrutiny on law enforcement, more school districts in metro Atlanta and across the nation are considering plans to buy body cameras for their officers to add an extra layer of transparency. Some worry the cameras are an invasion of student privacy.
