FLOWERY BRANCH—Falcons wide receiver Roddy White played through an ankle injury against the Packers on Monday and ended up with the highest snap count among the skill-position players.

White appeared to be hobbled at times but played 63 of 67 snaps (94 percent) in the 43-37 loss. The injury had forced White to miss the game against the Cardinals the previous week.

White had two key catches in the second half: a one-yard touchdown reception that cut Green Bay’s lead to 40-30 with 4:23 to play and 29-yard reception to the Green Bay 37-yard line that led to the Falcons’ final TD.

“Roddy is a guy that is going to fight through injury,” Falcons coach Mike Smith said. “It’s hard to keep him out. When Roddy had his opportunities, when the ball went his way, he made some big-time catches. I think that’s why we threw the ball so efficiently there in the second half of the game.”
