Here is the daily recap for Aug. 18, 2015:

1. Al Horford tells the AJC he wants to wait until after the season for contract talks. He doesn't want it to be a distraction from team goals.

3. Shelvin Mack expects to be ready for start of training camp.

4. Mark Bradley weighs in on ESPN's prediction on Hawks' win total

5. Hawks assistant coach Darvin Ham appeared on SiriusXM NBA radio today from his BWB. The station tweeted several of his comments, including this about former general manager Danny Ferry: “Danny always treated me with respect and I wish nothing but the best for him.”

6. The Hawks announced the signing of Jason Richardson.
