UPDATE: Police are looking for other suspects after the arrest of one person accused of threatening to shoot an 11-year-old boy this morning at a school bus stop in Atlanta, authorities said.

Testimony provided by the victim and multiple witnesses was enough for police to positively identify one subject involved and make the arrest, police said.

Police are still working to identify the two remaining subjects involved in order to charge them.

The one juvenile, who was arrested at Brown Middle School, was charged with Aggravated Assault and transported to the Metro Youth Detention Center, police said. Police did not recover a weapon from the person.

ORIGINAL REPORT: Two teenagers threatened to shoot an 11-year-old boy this morning as he stood at a school bus stop in northwest Atlanta, the sister of the boy said.

“The little boys come out of nowhere,” the boy’s sister told Channel 2 Action News. “They came to my brother and said, ‘I heard you’re talking about my mama.’ And then they pulled out a gun.”

The sister, who was not identified in the report, said one teen grabbed her brother by his neck and put the gun to his head.

“He said, ‘If you say something, I’m going to shoot you and take your life.’”

The teens did not follow through with their threats, and the 11-year-old boy was not injured. However, his mother kept him from school, according to Channel 2.

“Units (are) in the area looking for (the) suspect,” Officer Kim Jones told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution in an email.

No other details were immediately available.
