Fayette County Schools has set up a website for residents to check out textbooks it may adopt for health and physical education classes.

The district is in the process of selecting new curriculum resources in the area for students from grades K-12.

The site, https://sites.google.com/mail.fcboe.org/fcboe-health-pe-adoption/home, gives visitors a peek into what books the district is considering as well as information on health and physical education standards and school and state board policies.

“On the site, the public can view meeting dates of the committee, meeting agendas and minutes, a list of textbooks to be reviewed by the committee, and an adoption timeline,” the district said in introducing the site.
