The U.S. News & World Report recently ranked Children's Healthcare of Atlanta among the nation's top pediatric hospitals for 2019-2020.

The report is based on excellence in outcomes, nursing quality, program structure, national reputation and more in 10 pediatric specialties.
Children’s had five specialties rank in the top 10 and an additional two in the top 20.
The Nephrology Program (No. 5), the Gastroenterology Program (No. 5), the Orthopaedics Program (No. 6), the Aflac Cancer Center (No. 8), the Urology Program (No. 10), the Pulmonology and Lung Surgery Program (No. 19) and the Neurology and Neurosurgery Program (No. 19) all ranked in the top 20 for their individual specialties.

According to U.S. News, Children’s also has comparably high nurse staffing, meaning more nursing care per patient and overall better outcomes.
