Woodward middle school debaters win state championship

At the end of March, the Woodward Academy Middle School Debate Team competed at the state championship held at Georgia State University, where seventh-graders Sonali Dade and Carter Smith won the Junior Varsity state championship title by earning first place overall in their division. Sonali also received the second-place speaker award, joined by Carter and their classmates Alena Jones and Ashna Ghanate who also secured speaker awards.
