A critically acclaimed Netflix drama filmed Monday at a DeKalb County School District school.

School district officials would only say the hit series “Ozark” was filming at DeKalb Preparatory Academy, at 1402 Austin Drive near Interstate 285 in Decatur, all day Monday. Officials did not say how much the district received as compensation, or whether the show’s biggest stars — including actors Jason Bateman and Laura Linney — were on site.

Bateman recently said he will no longer work in Georgia if the state's controversial abortion legislation survives court challenges.

The bill, signed last month by Gov. Brian Kemp, outlaws most abortions once a doctor can detect a fetus' "heartbeat" — usually about six weeks into a pregnancy and before many women know they're pregnant.

“If the ‘heartbeat bill’ makes it through the court system, I will not work in Georgia, or any other state, that is so disgracefully at odds with women’s rights,” Bateman said.

“The Outsider,” an HBO show on which Bateman also appears, is also currently filming in Georgia.
