Twin Rivers Middle School is scheduled to be open Thursday, a day after the school was evacuated because of a power outage.

A transformer near the Gwinnett County school exploded around noon Wednesday, which resulted in a loss of electrical service. No one was injured, Gwinnett school officials said.

Students at Twin Rivers Middle School were taken to Mountain View High School, where they had lunch and taken home at their normal time.
