Gwinnett County school officials announced Monday they want the public’s input on some new textbooks, digital resources and other materials they’d like to use for its high school Career and Technical Education classes.

The materials will be available for public review at the school district’s headquarters, 437 Old Peachtree Rd., Suwanee, beginning Sept. 6 and ending a month later. School board members will have final approval over the materials.

Some residents in recent years have complained about some Gwinnett textbooks in other subjects, saying the books do not accurately represent American history and achievement.

For more information about the review process, Gwinnett officials ask residents to contact Instructional Resources and Support director Jadd Jarusinski at 678-301-6828.
