Sept 13, 2016

Clayton County school leaders want to discuss with the public long-term plan to improve classroom instruction.

The school district has scheduled a meeting at 9 a.m. Saturday concerning its Strategic Improvement Plan. The meeting will be at the S. Truett Cathy Professional Learning Center, 1087 Battlecreek Rd. in Jonesboro.

The current strategic plan, which includes providing academic resources for students, anti-bullying measures and community engagement, expires in 2017.

Officials said they will also have school district data available for review.
