Atlanta students are meeting with college representatives, hearing from business professionals and learning how to apply for jobs as part of the city school system’s College and Career Motivation Week.

Every school in Atlanta is participating in the event, which includes nearly 1,000 speakers, “dress for success” fashion shows, career research projects and lessons on how to write a resume.

Representatives from local colleges spoke with students along with volunteers from businesses such as Piedmont Healthcare, Citizens Trust Bank and Georgia Power, according to Atlanta Public Schools.
