Asian-American families in metro Atlanta interested in learning about the college admissions process can attend a free college fair in Gwinnett County on Saturday.

The college fair is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Peachtree Ridge High School, 1555 Old Peachtree Rd NW, Suwanee.

Representatives from more than 30 colleges are expected to attend. Most of the colleges are located in Georgia, but also include highly-selective schools such as Columbia, Princeton and Yale universities.

Experts will discuss how to prepare for interviews, maximizing financial aid, dual enrollment courses and admissions exams such as the ACT and SAT. Other scheduled speakers include actress Arden Cho, who will talk about the challenges of growing up as an Asian-American in a community with few peers with a similar ethnic background.

Attendees are encouraged to register online at aaacf2016.eventbrite.com.
