The multimillion dollar online marketplace you’ve probably never heard of

Not everything that’s returned ends up back on store shelves. That’s where online retailers like B-Stock Solutions come in, a major online retailer that resells returned and overstock items. From appliances to toys, B-Stock trades in hundreds of millions of dollars in inventory on a monthly basis, according to the CEO Marcus Shen. The company is part of a larger trend in the lucrative world of the resales, with retail items increasing 46% in value year over year. Forecasts predict online resales will surpass $90 billion by 2027. Producer Fraser Jones visited the B-Stock’s Overstock Outlet near Atlanta, Georgia to take a look at some of the 400 million pound of items that are resold each year.
