An Atlanta man recently won $1 million from the lottery — while on TV.

Christopher Jackson, 32, got his seven-figure windfall on the Monopoly Millionaires’ Club TV game show, a syndicated program filmed in Las Vegas. Jackson was one of 250 players from 23 states selected to participate in the show, for which lottery players can enter non-winning Millionaire’s Club tickets in hopes of being chosen.

According to a news release from the Georgia Lottery, Jackson plans to use his $1 million in winnings to buy his mother a car, buy himself a new house, pay off bills and “pursue business opportunities.”

“Winning is something that I cannot describe in words,” Jackson told lottery officials. “It was nothing like I’d ever experienced.”

Jackson’s prize also included having his electric bills paid for one year.
