If you’re thinking about a last-minute getaway for the holidays, United Airlines just may have your ticket. The carrier is offering a handful of destinations priced at one affordable round-trip rate of $349:

  • Boise, Idaho
  • Las Vegas or Reno-Tahoe, Nev.
  • Phoenix, Ariz.
  • San Jose or Sacramento, Calif.
  • Spokane, Wash.

To qualify, give at least a ten-day advance notice of travel. Trips are permitted seven days a week, based on sale seat availability. Trips must be finished on or before Jan. 5, 2014.

Due to the main holidays landing on weekdays, the required minimum stays at this rate vary:

  • A Saturday night minimum stay is required when departing Dec. 21, 26-28, or on or after Jan. 2.
  • A Wednesday night minimum stay is required on Dec. 22-24, 29-31 departures.
  • No minimum stay is required when travel takes place on Dec. 25 or Jan. 1.

United serves these destinations with one flight connection in either Denver or Houston.

Every seat on every flight is not offered at the lowest rate. On some departures or days there may be few or no tickets available at the lowest price. Since only a limited supply of seats is available, act quickly to make your purchase.

I recommend starting the search for available seats at Kayak.com vs. calling an airline directly. You can also search for the sale at travel websites such as Expedia, Orbitz or Travelocity, etc.

Airlines can discontinue or pull a sale price without notice when the offer does not have a “ticket-by” date or when the offer is deemed “sold out.”
