With four airlines offering nonstop flights to Denver, Atlantans have a choice of 18 daily flights to the Mile High City.

Those four carriers are all extending a $99 one-way offer to Denver -- valid on trips started on or after February 12. The last permitted travel date at this sale rate is March 9.

Trips can be taken any day of the week, based on availability. A bonus: no blackout dates over Valentine's Day or the long President's Day weekend (celebrated Monday, Feb. 20, 2012).

AirTran started this sale and has posted a ticket-by date of Sept. 5. However, matching carriers show no ticket-by date. So the best advice is to buy tickets immediately before the offer vanishes.

Other participating carriers include Delta, Frontier and United Airlines.

Sale airfares are always subject to change. Every seat on every flight is not offered at the lowest rate.

Since only a limited supply of seats is available, act quickly to make your purchase. I recommend starting the search for available seats at Kayak.com vs. calling an airline directly. You can also search for the sale at travel Web sites such as Expedia or Travelocity, etc. Airlines can discontinue or pull a sale price without notice when the offer does not have a "ticket-by" date or when the offer is deemed "sold out."
