The Hello Kitty-themed planes go well beyond an exterior paint job. Passengers will be greeted by flight attendants wearing Hello Kitty uniforms, and seat covers, pillows, luggage tags and even food items will feature the iconic Hello Kitty face.

One of the plane’s high-tech features will allow passengers to text from their mobile phones anytime during the flight.

In 2013, Los Angeles became the first U.S. city to welcome a Hello Kitty plane.
