More Disney magic has been sprinkled at the "Happiest Place on Earth." Mickey Mouse now talks at the character greetings at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World.
Visitors this week were surprised when they walked into their photo op and Magician Mickey didn't just not give a thumbs up, he actually greeted the guests.
Mickey and the rest of the gang, (Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto) have been "speaking" during stage shows over the past few years. The character greetings were on test runs also, but according to the park's official Disney Parks Blog, the talking Mickey is a permanent addition to the park, not just its "Limited Time Magic" promotion.
No word on whether Mickey will speak at the company's other parks.
