USAirways offers an extraordinary deal to Bermuda, the lovely British island located in the North Atlantic Ocean.

One-way airfare rates of $89 require a one-week advance purchase notice ($119.30 each way, inclusive of all taxes, fees).

That's about it for the rules... there are no blackout dates and trips are permitted seven days a week, based on sale seat availability.

Trips must be finished on or before Sept. 5, 2012.

USAirways serves Bermuda with connections in Philadelphia.

Warning: This sale has no ticket-by date. Act fast on your ticket purchase as this deal could vanish at any moment.

Bermuda's latitude is similar to that of Savannah, Georgia -- although temperatures are warmer during the winter and a bit cooler in summer months.

Travelers need to know that a passport is required for entry and also that rental cars are not permitted. Modes of transportation for visitors are bus, taxi, horse-drawn carriage, walking - or with a rental scooter (driving is on the left side of the road with a maximum permitted speed of 20 mph).

A rental scooter for two people rents for about $55 per day with discounts for multiple day rentals. Rental companies require you take a bit of parking lot practice before setting off. Renters must be older than 18.

A less expensive way to get around is with a Public Transportation Pass which provides for unlimited travel on both buses and ferries. Adult passes are $12 for one day; $20 for two days; $28 for three days; $35 for four days and a one-week pass is $45.

The four public ferry routes offer a picturesque alternative for travel around the island. All ferries depart from the Ferry Terminal on Front Street in the capital town of Hamilton. Cash is not accepted, so be sure to have your transportation pass, ticket or token in hand.

Island lodging can be pricey, but currently several resorts are offering a free night with minimum three-night stay. The Compliments of Bermuda Offer is made even sweeter with the addition of the Traveler's Price Card which offers exclusive rates and special deals at more than 60 retailers on the island. Nightly rates on this program start at $195, double. Book by March 12, 2012 for stays from Nov. 1 through March 31, 2012. See more at www.gotobermuda.com.

Bermuda is a huge draw for honeymooners, golfers and as a year-round vacation destination for friends, family and couples. This island pleases every visitor with its beauty, historic sites, rich culture, peaceful spas, fine dining and world-class shopping.

Sale airfares are always subject to change. Every seat on every flight is not offered at the lowest rate. Since only a limited supply of seats is available, act quickly to make your purchase.
