Instead of staying put at No. 3 in the 2018 NBA draft, the Hawks swapped picks with the Mavericks and added a first-round pick in 2019.

The reaction on Twitter from Hawks fans and media was all over the map.

At least one local celebrity was pleased with the move.

It reminded many of a couple mistakes from Hawks drafts past.

One way or another, the reaction was opinionated and aplenty.
