Georgia Tech receives its third commitment of the week, and its second from a Parkview High prospect, when Jordan Floyd picked the Yellow Jackets on Friday.

Floyd is a 6-foot-6, 295-pound offensive lineman who chose Tech over Kentucky, Florida State, Mississippi State, Central Florida and South Florida.

Considered a three-star prospect and a top-60 offensive tackle by the 247Sports Composite, Floyd reportedly holds scholarship offers from the six aforementioned programs and from Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, South Carolina and Tennessee, among others. He took an official visit to Tech on June 9-11.

Floyd was an all-region selection for 4-7A as a junior. Teammate and running back Trelain Maddox committed to Tech earlier this week.

Tech now has 11 commitments toward the 2023 class, a class ranked 32nd nationally by the 247Sports Composite.
