Georgia Tech offensive lineman Patrick Screws, a freshman, announced Monday on X, formerly Twitter, that he will transfer from Tech.

Screws is a 6-foot-5, 310 pound product of Eufaula, Alabama, and spent two seasons with the Yellow Jackets. Screws did not appear in a game during his time at Tech.

A graduate of Eufaula High School, Screws was a three-star prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite, in the class of 2023 and chose Tech over Arizona State, Georgia and Kentucky.

Screws joins fellow offensive linemen Corey Robinson and Jordan Brown, defensive linemen Horace Lockett, Uche Iloh and Romello Height, wide receivers Eric Singleton Jr., Christian Leary and Leo Blackburn, defensive back Taye Seymore, running back Evan Dickens and quarterback Zach Pyron as Jackets who have left Tech this offseason.
