INGLEWOOD, Calif. -- President Joe Biden tweeted congratulations to No. 1 Georgia after it won its second consecutive national championship and fourth overall with a 65-7 victory over No. 3 TCU on Monday at SoFi Stadium.

The only other teams to win consecutive titles since 1990 were Nebraska (1994-95), USC (2003-04) and Alabama (2011-12).

Georgia finished its season 15-0, becoming just the third team in the modern era to accomplish to achieve that many victories. The others were Clemson in 2018 and LSU in 2019.

The Bulldogs’ 58-pint of margin surpassed the previous record of 38 in a national championship game set by Nebraska against Florida in the 1996 Fiesta Bowl.
