Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers is on a roll.
He leads the NFL with a 124.6 passer rating this season. Rodgers has posted a passer rating of more than 10 points in the first four games (132.1, 119.9, 111.4, 134.5). With a 100-plus passer rating against the Falcons, Rodgers would become the fifth player to accomplish that feat in each of his team’s first five games of a season since 1970.
Rogers, who has won 10 consecutive games [including the playoffs], has a 122.6 passer rating in his three starts against the Falcons.
Last week against Denver, he became the first player in NFL history with more than 400 yards passing, four touchdown passes and two rushing touchdowns in a game.
Against the Falcons, the reigning Super Bowl MVP has completed 82 of 108 passes [75.9 percent] for 1,023 yards with seven touchdowns and one interception.
