Quinn: Julio Jones won’t ‘be on a pitch count’

Oct 15, 2015

Falcons coach Dan Quinn denied a report that wide receiver Julio Jones will be a “pitch count” when they play the New Orleans Saints tonight.

Quinn told CBS’ Tracy Wolfson, who is working the sideline tonight, that Jones “will not be on a pitch count.”

On Wednesday, NFL Media reported that the Falcons would play Jones but would “monitor his pitch count,” citing a team source.

Jones played 71 of 84 snaps against Washington last week, but appeared to struggle with his left hamstring injury.
