Falcons injury report: Matt Ryan, Julio Jones return to practice

Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan (ankle) and wide receiver Julio Jones (foot), who were held out of practice Wednesday, were back at practice during the open portion of Thursday’s practice.

Cornerback Desmond Trufant (toe) was limited on Wednesday, but fully participated on Thursday.

Also, running back Devonta Freeman (foot), tight end Austin Hooper (knee) and defensive end Takk McKinley (shoulder) did not practice. Safety Kemal Ishmael (concussion) was declared out for Sunday’s game.

Defensive end John Cominsky (ankle) and defensive end Adrian Clayborn (groin) were limited at practice.

Ryan, who came back from a ankle sprain, was also held out of practice on the Wednesday before the previous two games. He had his steak of 163 consecutive starts snapped against Seattle on Oct. 27.

Jones likely was receiving a rest day.
