Report card

Offense: B

The Hawks were very good offensively, but the 21-point second quarter was a big blemish. They let the Nuggets back in the game. It’s hard to argue against shooting 50 percent from the floor and 46 percent from 3-point range. The Hawks played with pace yet had just 12 turnovers with 32 assists, a 1.68 ratio.

Defense: B

Another solid effort, except for allowing the Nuggets a run to get back in the game. The Nuggets shot 45 percent from the floor and did a lot of damage inside. They held a 46-40 advantage in points in the paint. The Hawks kept the Nuggets off the free-throw line, limiting them to 17 chances.
