Hawks center Zaza Pachulia missed his fifth consecutive game with a sprained left foot. Drew said he’s still not sure if Pachulia will be available for the start of the playoffs this weekend. “I’m hoping so,” Drew said. “He’s certainly doing better than, from my understanding, what they had anticipated.”
Hawks center Al Horford, out since Jan. 17 pectoral surgery, put his chances of returning for the playoffs at 70 percent. Drew said he anticipates Horford would play “not very many” minutes if he is able to play. “We would have to work him in gradually,” Drew said. “I wouldn’t want to throw him right into the fire.
Hawks guard Jeff Teague and Knicks foward Carmelo Anthony had a running conversation throughout the game. "He was just talking," Teague said. "I shouldn't have said anything. It got him riled up. But, naw, he was riled up at the beginning."
