Since their arrival in Atlanta in 1966, the Braves have played in three stadiums under four different names. Make that five.
SunTrust Park will undergo a name change following the merger of SunTrust and BB&T banks. The new name, Truist Bank, will be splashed across the region, including on the Braves' facility in Cobb County. Most Braves fans weren't too keen on the new moniker.

The Braves' first home, just south of the state Capitol was named Atlanta Stadium. It was renamed to the compound Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium in February 1975 — a year before Ted Turner bought the team.
Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium served as the host to a World Series title in 1995.
The Braves moved to Turner Field — formerly Centennial Olympic Stadium — to start the 1997 season. Built for the 1996 Atlanta Games, Olympic Stadium was converted for baseball and renamed under the then-owner's name.
The Braves would call Turner Field home for three decades, before opting to move to a new facility named after Atlanta’s financial giant SunTrust Bank.
The 25-year naming rights average about $10 million per year in revenue for the Braves. The naming deal will continue under the newly minted Truist Bank.
The stadium, however, will keep the SunTrust Park name through the end of this season, as the Braves previously said, and possibly next season before being rechristened — just in time for when the Braves host the 2021 All-Star Game.
