How the winning run scored: Danny Dorn's two-out, two-run homer in the first inning (his 25th of the season) gave Toledo all the runs necessary in a shutout victory against visiting Gwinnett on Tuesday night.

At the plate: The G-Braves had seven hits, all singles, and one batter was hit by a pitch. They seldom offered much of a threat. The G-Braves advanced a runner to second three times and never to third. Todd Cunningham and Joe Leonard each grounded into a double play.

On the mound: G-Braves starter Sean Gilmartin (3-8) allowed four runs in four innings. He gave up seven hits and no walks, and he struck out six.

Up next for Gwinnett: The G-Braves (56-76) are off Wednesday and move on to Columbus, Ohio, to begin a series against the Clippers at 7:05 p.m. Thursday. Left-hander Yohan Flande (8-7, 4.20) is scheduled to start for Gwinnett against right-hander Josh Tomlin (on a rehab assignment for the Cleveland Indians.)
