How the winning run scored: Brandon Boggs' double with one out in the seventh inning drove home Joey Terdoslavich with the first run of the game, and Gwinnett held on to defeat host Buffalo on Tuesday night.

At the plate: The G-Braves had three hits, all for extra bases. In addition to Boggs' game-winning hit, Matt Pagnozzi hit a home run, and Todd Cunningham had a double. No batter for either team had more than one hit.

On the mound: G-Braves right-hander Cody Martin (1-0) was promoted from Double-A Mississippi on Tuesday and made his Triple-A debut against the Bisons. He pitched seven innings and did not allow a run. He struck out seven, gave up two hits and walked a batter.

Up next for Gwinnett: The G-Braves (29-44) and Bisons (36-34) continue their series at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday. Gwinnett left-hander Yohan Flande (3-6, 5.82 ERA) is scheduled to start against lefty Ricky Romero (0-1, 8.22).
