Long before the days when relievers made dramatic entrances to a theme song there was one thing baseball fans could look forward to: the bullpen car.

The car came in many forms: car, cart and motorcycle. Even the Braves fell to the trend:

The bullpen car saw a glimpse of a return in 2015, when baseball's game pace committee - led by the Braves' John Schuerholz - entertained the idea in order to shorten game times.

The benefits were outweighed by other concerns.
