The 25-year-old Davidson started four games this season, most recently pitching June 15. He had a 3.60 ERA across four starts, including two scoreless outings over 11-2/3 combined innings.
Davidson earned an extended stay in the rotation but was derailed by left forearm inflammation that prevented him from making another MLB appearance. He rehabbed at the team’s spring training complex. Davidson pitched for Triple-A Gwinnett on Oct. 3, allowing one run over three innings.
