The Falcons’ season reached a new low with Sunday’s 27-24 loss to the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. The loss dropped their record to 4-8 and ended any lingering thoughts of making a final push toward the playoffs.
Special teams were a negative and the defense played well until the fourth quarter, when the Falcons surrendered the last 10 points to allow the Jets’ comeback.
