In a news release, lottery officials said the winning ticket was sold at a QuickChek convenience store in Phillipsburg.

The winning numbers Friday night were 9, 33, 39, 60, and 66, while the Gold Mega Ball was 21 and the Megaplier was 2, lottery officials said. The winner has one year to claim the jackpot.

The prize winner can take the full amount in an annuity, or receive a lump sum of $162,596,784, according to the lottery's updated news release.

The Mega Millions jackpot had been building since Jan. 1, when 23 New York co-workers won a $427 million prize, lottery officials said.

The store will receive $30,000 for selling the winning ticket, NJ.com reported.

The jackpot will reset to $40 million for Tuesday's drawing, lottery officials said.
