Joseph Jude "Joe" Dumphy, a Forsyth County teenager critically injured in last month's wreck that killed his grandfather, passed away Sunday. He was flown to Grady Memorial Hospital after the wreck in which his 78-year-old grandfather failed to yield as he got on Ga. 400, according to the Dawson County newspaper. Read more.
3. Woman arrested for bringing loaded gun to Gwinnett courthouse
Shashirekha Shetty tried to bring a gun into the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center and was charged with carrying a weapon in unauthorized locations Tuesday afternoon. The nature of her visit to the courthouse was unknown, the sheriff's office said. Read more.
4. Prosecutors: Rick Warren's fingerprints are "all over" blighted home
Prosecutors argued Tuesday that Buckhead real estate investor Rick Warren, who is facing jail time over blighted Atlanta properties, is responsible for hazardous conditions there even if his name isn't on the deeds.
