Crime Stoppers has increased the reward for information about a man suspected of robbing and beating a 65-year-old DeKalb County woman in her home last week.

The reward has been increased to $5,000 as police have not been able to identify the man who attacked Lisa Holland in her home on Bowling Green Way about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

According to the initial investigation, the man hit Holland several times, leaving her with serious facial injuries, DeKalb police said. The suspect took Holland’s purse, keys and cellphone. Investigators attempted to trace the phone but were led to a landfill, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported.

The suspect is described as a tall man in his late 30s or early 40s. He was wearing a dark-colored skull cap along with a dark jacket and dark pants, police said. He would have been in the north DeKalb area near the junction of Chamblee Tucker Road and I-285 around the time of the attack.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Greater Atlanta by calling 404-577-8477 or online at www.crimestoppersatlanta.org. Tipsters can remain anonymous and still be eligible for the reward.
