Gainesville police are looking for a 29-year-old man in connection with a body discovered Saturday in a Hall County motel.
Police on Sunday issued an appeal for information about Jose Garcia-Flores of Gainesville. Investigators, according to a police news release, are “concerned for his welfare.”
Officers want to talk to Garcia-Flores about a killing at Sun Suites, an extended-stay motel on the 1100 block of Jesse Jewell Parkway. The death has been ruled a homicide.
Gainesville police were called to the motel mid-afternoon Saturday when a worker discovered a body in a room. Local police enlisted the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Authorities have not identified the victim, nor the manner of death. A Gainesville officer on Sunday declined to elaborate on the investigation.
