If you need to get somewhere Wednesday, MARTA may be the best ride in town.

While the transit authority has suspended bus service until further notice, the rail service has been running since about 5:30 a.m., spokesman Lyle Harris told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Expect some delays. Just before 8:30 a.m., the wait times between trains was about 20 minutes, Harris said. Officials were working to reduce that wait time.

MARTA will not run any fixed-route buses or mobility/paratransit service until the agency gets the all clear from the Georgia Department of Transportation that roads are safe and passable.
