A former University of Georgia student pleaded guilty to vandalizing 11 cars at an apartment complex.

Brandyn Matthew Clark, 22, paid the victims more than $30,000 in restitution, his lawyer Mo Wittshire told the Athens Banner-Herald. He pleaded guilty to 11 counts of second-degree criminal damage.

Clark vandalized the 11 red cars in January 2016 at the Standard Apartments on North Thomas Street as he was searching for a red car that damaged his own. A trail of blood followed Clark from the damaged cars to his apartment, leading a grand jury to indict him.

Wittshire told the newspaper his client was expelled from UGA and is receiving counseling. Clark hopes to re-enroll.
